Dr. Kar is supported by a committed team of professionals who have gone above and beyond to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety. Our friendly, comfortable environment calms your jitters, as we keep you informed every step of the way during your examination and dental procedures.
Carolina Rodriguez – Administrator
Carolina Rodriguez has been part of the InStyle Dental team for 3 years and has over 10 years experience in the dental field. At InStyle, Carolina is known as the quarterback of the operation, managing all the nuts and bolts of this multi-faceted operation. Her bubbly personality makes her a pleasure to work with. She takes great pride in providing the most respectful care possible. She loves working with and getting to know the clients InStyle serves – just chatting with them during their visit is a genuine joy to her.
Carolina is the proud mom of her two lovely daughters, Alexandra and Peyton.
Linda Michaels, Customer Service
After moving from Buffalo, NY in November, Linda joined the InStyle Dental team bringing over 25 years of customer service experience to the office.
Away from the office, Linda donates her time to the disabled and Make a Wish Foundation and campaigns for the United Way Foundation. Linda enjoys bowling, karaoke and hiking, but most of all, she loves spending time with family and friends.
Janette Casillas – Registered Dental Assistant
According to her co-workers, Janette Casillas is “Ms. Super-Efficient” making copious notes upon copious notes. Janette began working in the dental field after completing high school, the dental assistant program and obtaining her California State Board certification. She loves working with all of the guests and assisting Dr. Kar chair side. Providing friendly, courteous and caring services have always been her beliefs.
Outside of the office, Janette and her husband enjoy spending time with family and friends. Her personal passions are music, photography, scrapbooking and reading.
Krishna Patel – Registered Dental Hygienist
Krishna Patel, RDH, currently practices 2-3 days a week. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois and graduated with her degree in dental hygiene in 2000. She moved to California in 2005 where she resides with her husband and daughter. For relaxation, she enjoys spending time with her family, exercising, shopping and dining out. She returns to Chicago approximately once a year to visit her family.

Michael Solorio – Dental Assistant
Michael, a native of Los Angeles, has been Dental Assisting for 7 years, and assisting Dr. Kar for 6 of those. A proud father of three beautiful girls, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis and going to the beach. He especially loves Hermosa Beach, where Michael spent an entire summer before High School boogie boarding with friends.
Michael is always ready to greet guests and answer any questions with great pleasure and a smile.
Annie Quito - Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Annie moved from the Philippines in 2003. She now resides in Arcadia with her husband, Kit, whom she's been happily married to for twenty-one years, and her two beautiful daughters, Cecile and Christine. For six years, she's worked part-time, assisting Dr. Kar in his orthodontic practice, and has enjoyed watching the practice grow.
Annie enjoys the warm working relationship shared by the team, and takes pleasure in seeing InStyle Dental's patients transition from having bashful smiles to wearing full, confident and gleaming smiles.
